Empowered to Rejoice: God at Work

Philippians 1:6 ~ And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

DISASTER ASSISTANCE

402 Center Way
Lake Jackson, TX 77566 8/30/21

Last week we handed out just over 4500 meals in the Canton NC area. For the past week we have had 2 of our coordinators helping at Waverly Church of Christ (Waverly TN) serving around 1000 meals daily and helping with the check in of those in need of supplies. I arrived in McEwen TN on Thursday (McEwen CoC). The church is handing out supplies and we are doing 250·300 meals per day.

I have talked with LaPlace CoC in LaPlace LA and as soon as the roads are open we will be setting up there.

We are able to do this work of feeding hungry people whose lives have been devastated by disasters because of the financial support of our brothers and sisters across the U.S.··Churches, businesses or individuals if you have funds to donate for mission work you need not struggle with the questions where is the need, who should get the help or how is our donations being spent. The Disaster Assistance Mission IS YOUR ANSWER, let us administer your donations for you. We know where the need is, we have volunteers or contacts there to help get the work done. We post updates with photos so you or your members can say look this is what our donations are doing.

You can donate to our work 2 ways. Online at www.disasterassistancecoc.com or make check payable to and mail to:

Please pray for the thousands of people whose lives have been forever changed and for us as we show the love of the Lord to them by just providing a simple meal & a helping hand.
