We believe in [one] God, the Father, Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
And in Jesus Christ, His unique Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended [to the dead]. On the third day, he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, where He lives and rules forevermore. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, uncreated, unbegotten, proceeding from the Father and the Son; Lord and Giver of life. We believe in one holy universal church; The communion of saints; One baptism for the forgiveness of sins; The resurrection of the body; And the life everlasting. Amen.
