1 Corinthians 9:16-17

For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel. For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have a stewardship entrusted to me.

Prayer: God today help me a good steward of your word, help me want to proclaim your greatness!

Day 5                                     July 10, 2016

Ezekiel 3:17-20

“Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. “When I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. “Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself.

Prayer: My God and Father I ask you to deliver me from the evil that comes my way today. Lord let me live each day for you.

Day 9                                     July 14, 2016

1 Corinthians 3:10-15

According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw …

Prayer: God help me to build on your foundation today as I live out this day for you.

Day 10                                   July 15, 2016

2 Corinthians 5:10-11

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.

Prayer: Lord help me to convince others that you are real and your judgment is real. Lord help me to demonstrate to others how you offer saving grace to everyone.

Romans 10:1

Brethren, my heart’s desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation.

Prayer: Father I desire that others come to your salvation which comes through Jesus, help me to show them your ways.

Day 12                                   July 17, 2016

1 Corinthians 9:19-23

For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, so that I may win more. To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law though not being myself under the Law, so that I might win those who are under the Law; to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might win those who are without law.

Prayer:  Jesus, son of God show me the way to winning others to you today. Thank you for my salvation which comes from the grace you have extended to me.

Day 13                                   July 18, 2016

Acts 20:19-20

Serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials which came upon me through the plots of the Jews; how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly and from house to house,

Prayer: Heavenly Father, take from the bondage of the world that keeps me from taking your word house to house.

Day 14                                   July 19, 2016

I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish. So, for my part, I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.

Prayer: God, help me remember today that it is an obligation of my relationship to you, Lord, that I will share what you have done for me, by saving me from my sins.

Day 15                                   July 20, 2016

Romans 9:1-3

I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit, that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh,

Prayer: Lord, I asked you to help me to learn what it means that others who do not know you will perish when the day of judgment occurs, so that I may be motivated to spend time with them talking about your amazing grace.

Day 16                                   July 21, 2016

Romans 15:17-20

Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found reason for boasting in things pertaining to God. For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed, in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and round about as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

Prayer:  Lord today as I boast about the good life I have found, let me boast only about your goodness and grace that you have extended to me.

Prayer:  My God, thank you for the reminder that our work for you is important, in that souls are saved and sins are forgiven when people commit their lives after hearing the message of Jesus!

Day 19                                   July 24, 2016

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Prayer: Lord, I realize that everything happens in your time and not mine, Lord help me to learn to wait on your timing.

Day 20                                   July 25, 2016

2 Corinthians 5:14-15

For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.

Prayer: Lord, retell the story of Jesus to me so that I will not forget how important it is to all of the world around me and how much this story has changed my circumstances.

 Day 21                                   July 26, 2016

2 Corinthians 5:18-19

Prayer:  Thank you Lord for taking me where I was to where I am now.

Day 24                                   July 29, 2016

Romans 1:16-17

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.”

Prayer:  Dear God, Help me to walk in a manner that shows how great my love is for you and that each step I take tells the story of my faith in You.

“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

1 Corinthians 1:17-18

For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel, not in cleverness of speech, so that the cross of Christ would not be made void. For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Prayer:  Lord, thank you for today’s reminder that your word convicts people to change, not my words.

Day 27                                   August 01, 2016

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,

Prayer: God, today You remind us that this war we are in is a spiritual war. A spiritual war fought in the minds of those who will perish if your ideas are not brought to them.
